Brief Project Description:

The main objective of the research is to develop new formulations for waterproofing membranes for the construction sector using more sustainable materials.

Expected Results:

The project aims to achieve new formulations with suitable mechanical and thermal properties for subsequent use as waterproofing membranes, both indoors under flooring and outdoors under roofs and terraces.

The recovery of polyolefinic materials and their application to high-value-added products, such as waterproofing membranes for use on building roofs, leads to significant innovation and improvement in sustainability by incorporating specially developed recycled material.
