Una historia
con muchas capas
A story
with many layers

In 1945, Miguel Martínez Ramírez founded MMR, a warehouse specialising in leather and saddlery. Shortly afterwards, due to its success, it began to expand and offer a wider range of services related to textiles and upholstery fabrics, with the support of his son.
In the 1980s, with the rise of plastic, coated fabrics for backpacks, pouches, holdalls, and leatherette for upholstery and luggage were introduced. At the same time, services for the promotional advertising sector also began.
With the incorporation of the third generation and a relocation to expand storage capacity, the company began manufacturing the products it sold and diversified its market by entering fully into the footwear and toy sectors.
In 2006, two major lines of business emerged: toe-puffs and counters for the footwear market, and the manufacture of waterproofing plastic membranes for major brands. It was here, thanks to the excellent results, that Revestech was born as an independent brand.
The company began specialising in complete construction systems, both for new builds and refurbishments, with built-in showers becoming a key area of business due to the critical importance of waterproofing in their logistics and installation.
DRY80 System. In 2007, we developed the first waterproofing system for roofs that not only addressed waterproofing issues, but also focused on durability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation.
LEVEL Series. In 2016, we developed the first product in an innovative series for shower systems: the LEVEL invisible prefabricated shower tray. A highly innovative product for designer showers, its success led to the evolution of our production and handling systems, enabling us to manufacture a wide range of waterproofing and channelling components in-house.
As part of this evolution, the success of our DRY80 roofing waterproofing system compelled us to expand our facilities and adapt our manufacturing machinery to meet the new demands of these markets.
In 2022, the first membranes of the 100% SUSTAINABLE ECODRY LINE were manufactured and launched on the market, produced using materials from the Circular Economy and formulated by our R&D&I department after several years of research into polymer treatment.
Currently, with the fourth generation of the Martínez Gil family at the helm, there is a clear and determined commitment to the Circular Economy and the reduction of carbon footprint, as well as a strong drive towards internationalisation, with our reach already extending to over 30 countries.
